Andy Morris is a drummer who also builds complete bespoke drums. GTC Custom drumshave a fine reputation for quality in design and finish. Based in Hampshire, Andy has many contacts in Europe and the US and can call on a vast selection of components - "Custom drums" means just that - a unique product built by hand with incredible attention to detail.

The most important point about Andy is that his band The Good time Charlies are gigging constantly, he talks to many musicians finding out what drummers want and expect when parting with their hard earned dosh!

This is a 10 x 3" snare drum. Made from a 10 ply maple Keller plywood shell and is completed in metallic blue with a high gloss clear lacquer finish. The inside of the shell is finished with a coat of tung oil.

This is a 15 x 3.5" snare drum. Made from a 10 ply maple Keller plywood shell and is completed in an oak waxed finish with several coats of clear wax on top. The inside of the shell is finished with a coat of tung oil.

GTC Custom drums operate quite independently from Bob's Drum Barn. Andy can be freely approached for any project you have in mind. Andy's skills compliment the BDB site because he offers a complete drum service from concept to delivery and famously, BDB don't offer any finishes other than our hand painted "one off" snare drums.
