Mick Waller - rolling and Tumbling to a classic sound from the 1960 and 70's. From Rod the mod, Keith Moon and Kenny Jones to the progressive sounds of Genesis, Free and Jeff beck, the R&B of the Yardbirds and Fleetwood Mac - came the sounds known as Classic British Rock. The BDB "Rock" shell attempts to capture that sound - All Birch with big support rings on a lively 6" Drum. This is the "Rock" shell played by Jack Jewell It's a 6mm shell with 6mm support rings. At 150mm (6") deep, this makes for loud, punchy cutting snare sounds - great live and as tough as old boots.
