Jack's back!

Jack with Cunning Elizabeth Beating up a storm on his Yamaha and Sabians.
Kinda cool in Black & White.

Below, we caught Jack with his new BDB special rock snare - details of the drum are on the workshop page - Here's Jack in action on stage at
Club 85 in Hitchin - he's missing his normal Yamaha kit but remembered his snare!

Rockin'!
He did ask for red - So we gave him pink!
Dark in there!

Cunning Liz gig regularly in the Hitchin area, exotic locations such as Sheffield and St Albans, and recently appeared at the Rhythms of the World Festival. They describe themselves as a: "North Herts 5 piece playing classic rock in the vein of Free and Bad Company with a touch of more contemporary rock/metal."

The band line up is completed by Tom Jewell ("roaring (vocals) a la Hendrix"), Tom Fairhurst (Bass, BVs and Big Hair), Alex Wrigley (the Van Halen of Letchworth) and Johnny Boggild (Flying V Magic). Jack plays a Yamaha Stage Custom kit which he has expanded with an extra tom and lots of Sabian cymbals! He also completes the solid rhythm section of the KTS AllStars Big Band who have just returned from tour in Catalonia.

Jack was closely involved in the development of his own custom built BDB snare drum

Jack's currently using Yamaha gear - we managed to persuade him to try wood for a change - This is Jack's own specification - 4 x 1.5 ply Birch shell with 4 reinforcement rings for strength and volume.
At 6.5 inches this is a mighty drum and Jack's chosen wooden hoops to set it off.
