James has been studying Tabla for 3 years and is now considered an advanced student.

With guidance from a master of Indian music, James has managed to get to grips with a style of drumming that most shy away from considering it too difficult to understand, let alone play.

With seven beat Rupak etc it's little wonder that yours truly gave up after a couple of years - however James continued to progress and hopefully he will be able to continue his Tabla sudies in Manchester where he's heading to University.

Anil famously played with George Harrison on the Fab Beatles album - Revolver. I guess most people in the UK would consider that as one of the first times they had heard Tabla on a recording.

Anil now teaches Indian instruments, including Tabla at the Ravidassia multi cultural centre in Hitchin, Herts - These are surely some of the best value music lessons available.
