How
to make a badge for your project
Take
it away Taff - I don't think any words are required from me
We
have only just added hand painted finishes to our range of stuff but here's
a quite corner of the workshop with a 6ply Birch shell having it's base
colour applied.

a shell
Also
"new" are several pieces of equipment - either 2nd hand,
saved from the skip or recycled: |
 |
| Pillar
drill - no longer required
A
new and shiny upstart took it's place - BDB international rescue
flew in and saved the day. |
 |
| In
a similar bold and daring mission we found an enormous piece of
exterior grade ply - this has been made into a very strong workbench
which, in turn supports another great piece of kit -
Our
ancient hand powered but "automatic descent" pillar drill

New
cutting table allows very precise cutting of raw wood- with less waste
in time and resources
|

Little toms - made in a batch to optimise the wood cuts - we are
keen to keep costs and waste to a minimum
|
 The
less we waste the cheaper we can Knock these drums out - we are now
looking at the cleanest and greenest ways to glue them together. |
Making
the shell -
Starts with a solid plug - then moulding rings can be taken from
this "dead Square" round thing - well it makes sense to
me !
